REGISTRATION CONCERNS
When is the start of registration?
The registration opens on 25 November 2015. Final date of registration is on 15 January 2016 for bank deposit/wire transfer payment option and 22 January 2016 for PAYPAL/credit card payment option.
How much is the registration fee?
The early bird rate is USD 350, while the standard rate is USD 400. Please note that early bird registration is only open until 31 December 2015.
The aforementioned registration fee includes full conference participation, lunch/banquet, refreshments, and social dinners.
Is there an available government rate?
Yes. This is only available for the Philippine government. You may email the APAN41 Registration Team [apan41_reg@asti.dost.gov.ph] with the subject line “Government Rate” for your unique promo code to avail of the government rate. Kindly provide the following details together with a scanned image of your government ID (front and back):

** Please note that choosing to pay through credit card will only allow you twenty-four (24) hours to make the payment . If the payment is not made within the given time period, your registration will be void. You have to register again.
How do I settle the payment for the APAN41 Meeting?
Through PAYPAL/credit card or bank deposit/wire transfer.
Payments made through PAYPAL/credit card will be in US Dollars (USD) and payments made through bank deposit/wire transfer will be in Philippine Pesos (PhP). All bank remittance charges are to be paid by the registrant.
If you choose to pay via bank deposit/wire transfer, please note that participants are only given five (5) banking days, including cheque clearing, after the confirmed deposit date to make the payment. Please make the bank transfer to this account:

I wish to cancel my registration.
If you would like to cancel your registration, please email a scan of your signed cancellation request letter to the APAN41 Registration Team [apan41_reg@asti.dost.gov.ph] with the subject line “Cancellation Request”. Please include the following details in your cancellation request:

4. Check Number and Bank Code (For Check Payment)
**Cancellation requests will only be accepted until 08 January 2016 (17:00 GMT+8). A Cancellation and Administration Fee of USD40.00/PHP2,000.00 will be retained for this action. Please note that it may take at least four (4) weeks to finish the refund process. The APAN Local Organizing Committee will send you a confirmation email for the successful refund. All bank remittance charges are to be paid by the registrant.
I want to transfer my registration to another person, what shall I do?
To transfer your registration to another person, kindly visit the APAN41 website "LOGIN" page [www.apan41manila.com/login].
My bank deposit/wire transfer grace period expired before making payment, what shall I do?
You have to register again. Please note that your slot would be released and made available for other interested participants. There is also no guarantee that you will be able to acquire it again.
I registered and chose to pay via bank deposit/wire transfer on the last day of the early bird rate, and I think that my payment would be credited within the five (5) days grace period. Would I still be able to avail the early bird rate?
Yes, you are still eligible for the early bird rate as long as your payment is credited within the grace period.
I registered and chose to pay via bank deposit during the early bird promo, but my grace period expired. Can I register again and still pay the early bird rate?
If payment was not made during the grace period, your slot would be released and made available for other interested participants. If you decide to still attend the event, you must register again. If your registration is still within the duration of the early bird rate, then you can avail of the discounted registration fee.
I registered and chose to pay via bank deposit, but I was only able to deposit a day after my grace period.
Your registration will be void. You will need to register again. If the late payment was successfully transferred, it will be refunded. An Administration Fee of USD40.00/PHP2,000.00 will be retained for this action. Please note that it may take at least four (4) weeks to finish the refund process. The APAN Local Organizing Committee will send you a confirmation email for the successful refund. All bank remittance charges are to be paid by the registrant.
I registered and chose to pay via bank deposit, but I was only able to deposit the cheque/cash on the last day of my grace period.
If the payment made was in cash, we can verify with the bank if the payment has been credited. If the payment made was through cheque, at least three (3) days clearing will be required for the payment to be credited; therefore, not making the deadline of payment, resulting in the cancellation of your slot.
I only registered for the colocated events, would I be able to attend the APAN41 events?
As much as we would like to accommodate more participants, APAN41 is a paid event that will use the registration fee for payment of full conference participation, lunch/banquet, refreshments, and social dinners. However, if there are available slots left during the conference, you can register and pay the registration fee at the venue.
I only registered for colocated events but I changed my mind and now I also want to attend the APAN41 events.
Kindly visit the APAN41 website "LOGIN" page [www.apan41manila.com/login]. Enter your registered email and password to access your registration details. Under “MANAGE MY EVENTS”, you will be able to view the list of events you are registered in. You are given an option to add an event but you cannot delete any. If you choose to add any event/s, you will be redirected to the payment page.
Can I pay onsite? (cash, cheque, credit card)
If there are available slots left during the conference, you can register and pay the registration fee at the venue. Only cash will be accepted.
TRANSPORTATION CONCERNS
I will arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1/2/3, how much is the approximate cost if I take an airport taxi?
If you are booked in any of the listed hotels within the Resorts World Complex (i.e. Marriott, Remington, Belmont), you may avail of the complimentary airport shuttle services offered by the hotels.
However, should you want to take a cab, we recommend that you choose the yellow-meter taxi located at the arrival area of each airport terminal. Approximate cost to the recommended hotels from NAIA T1 is PhP 250; from NAIA T2 is PhP 250; and from NAIA T3 is PhP 200.
How do I get to the conference venue? Will there be a shuttle service to/from hotel?
The Marriott Grand Ballroom is just a three (3) minute walk from Remington Hotel and a one (1) minute walk from Marriott Hotel and Belmont Hotel.

Only transfers to/from hotel to the conference venue shall be covered by ASTI with the following schedules:
7:45 AM - Pick up time at Grand Phoenix Hotel
8:00 AM - Pick up time at Red Planet Hotel
6:00 PM - Departure from conference venue (Wednesday and Friday)
Between 9:00 PM-10:00 PM - Departure from social events venue (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
May I ask for the complimentary airport shuttle schedules at Remington Hotel?
Remington Hotel offers complimentary shuttle services on the following locations:
NAIA Terminal 1 - RWM Kiosk near the hotel lounge
NAIA Terminal 2 - Bay 15
NAIA Terminal 3 - Bay 12

The shuttle operates for twenty-four (24) hours daily and runs every hour. No reservations required. Please print a hard copy of your room confirmation just in case you will be required to present it.
However, should you prefer a private transportation for your best convenience, please inquire directly with the hotel’s Transport Reservations Team [transport.rsvn@rwmanila.com] for the type of vehicle, availability, and applicable rates. You may also send a message to Ms. Mary Grace Delfin [marygrace.delfin@rwmanila.com] for the same concern

May I ask for the complimentary airport shuttle schedules at Marriott Hotel?
All APAN41 delegates booked at Marriott Hotel can avail of the complimentary airport shuttle services to and from all the terminals of NAIA. The shuttle operates for twenty-four (24) hours daily and runs every hour.
The shuttle buses are distinctly recognizable since all are colored red with large Resorts World Manila murals on each side of the bus.

From Marriott Hotel, there are two (2) shuttles leaving every top of the hour. One is bound for NAIA Terminal 1 while the other one is bound for both NAIA Terminal 2 and 3:

NAIA Terminal 3 - Bay 12

Please be advised that this service is not exclusive to Marriott Hotel guests. And because it is on a first come, first served basis, delays may be inevitable since the service may depend on the number of guests that will be taking the shuttle.

HOTEL AND ACCOMMODATION CONCERNS
How do I book an accommodation?
Participants should directly contact the hotel for bookings and other related queries. List of top five (5) recommended hotels and their contact information are listed in the APAN41 website [www.apan41manila.com/home/accommodation.html]. Please mention that you are an APAN41 attendee when booking your accommodation.
If I would be requesting for a Halal meal, is there an additional payment? How much?
Please be informed that a no-pork meal will be served as a standard meal in the conference. Should you require a special meal arrangement, please inform the APAN41 Secretariat as soon as you can. Kindly send an email to the APAN41 Secretariat [apan41@asti.dost.gov.ph] with the subject line “Meal Arrangement” and provide the following details:

**Please note that request for a special meal arrangement during the conference will have to be settled directly with the hotel.
I plan to bring my wife/family in the Philippines, will I get the same hotel rate?
All partner hotels are extending their rates to all APAN41 delegates’ children and spouses, provided that they stay in the same hotel for the whole duration of the activity. Please mention that you are an APAN41 attendee when booking your accommodation.
Please note that the APAN41 organizers cannot guarantee the same benefit for bookings outside the list of recommended hotels.
